"My initial impression was dubious but on entering the building I was amazed at the beautiful and unique layout of the property. Although my bedroom (#4) was rather small, I was impressed by the high quality of the decorations. The shower facility was of a high standard. The rooftop terrace has been refurbished into a “chill out” area giving wonderful 360 degree views of the surroundings including a view of the distant castle. This area is conducive to getting to know your fellow guests late...

"For the price, you could not go wrong. It was cleanthe host was very amicable. There are also couple of restaurants just outside the property, which was very convenient. We only spend one night on our way from Caminito del Rey, so after a long hard day, this place was more than perfect. Will definitely recommend it for a short stay. "

"We were totally at home here on our 11 night stay . Room 28 little balcony with views to the countryside . Great cleanliness the only drawback was the bed a bit uncomfortable and sheets not quite big enough but nothing major . Shame the excellent restaurant was closed during our stay . "We had a lovely room with a window overlooking the town. Apart from some difficulties gaining entry because the info email arrived late, it was a good stay. The town can be lively in the evening, but the occasional noise didn't bother us. The roof terrace is amazing in the evening!"

There's not many places where you can eat (on a Monday at least) so we ended up eating at the hotel, which was fine, but I found it too expensive for what we got. Our first experience at the hotel, which honestly is not acceptable is that when we arrived to the hotel room we were looking at the room and bathroom where we were staying. I was going to the bathroom when I saw there was PEE on the toilet seat, just gross! So we went down to the reception...

The staff are extremely helpful and went out of their way to organise airport transfers for me. Restaurants and shops are within a few minutes walk and the town is unspoiled and stunning.
