"The Hosts, Roberto and his wife were excellent hosts. Made from scratch breakfast every morning and her Croissants were to die for including their fresh home made jams. Gorgeous view of the Valley and hills from the balcony. Oh, and I have to mention Roberto’s dad Vito…. He makes a mean cup of coffee. "

"Wonderful property and excellent service. A little outside the town, but easy to find. Safe and quiet area, but with no options for dining nearby. Recommended!"

"This is absolutely fantastic place , located in a middle of vineyard, quiet and hidden from the crowd. The host is very helpful and always eager to make your stay better. Everyday we had fantastic breakfast made from home made indredients in the middle of lemon grove. The was also dinner option but we were to short to try. If you have a car the is also near a lot places for totally empty rock beaches ,,, So if you are looking for quite and authentic place - Bagno Spanò is the the best choice...

"We had a great stay here. While the location isn’t ideal if you want to be in the centre of things, it worked perfectly for us as a base to explore the west of the island, with places like Trapani, Scopello, and the Zingaro Reserve all within easy reach.
The hotel was very clean, quiet, and well-maintained, with plenty of parking, which was ideal as we had a rental car. The staff were excellent throughout our stay — very friendly, accommodating, and flexible. They gave us an early check-in and late check-out around our flight times, upgraded us to a higher-floor room, arranged transport for our wine tour, and even prepared a packed breakfast for us when we had an early start one morning, which we really appreciated.
The hotel is also close to the beach, with a shuttle service available, although it’s walkable too. Breakfast was good overall.
The only real downside for us was that the in-room dining was a little overpriced for what it was.
Overall, a great option if you’re looking for a peaceful, clean base for exploring western Sicily, with excellent service and good facilities."
"The hotel has best views in the Castellammare Del Golfo. It was was bit noisy for 3 nights as they had events. Rooms are clean but for some reason lots of ants on the floor!!! You need a car to get to places as it’s out of the city. Staff are pleasant!"
"Highly recommend. All the staff very friendly and helpful. Ideal location, tucked away only 20mtrs from the main restaurants and bars area though not affected by late night noise. Ideal.
Breakfasts were a highlight, welcoming homemade local produce presented with pride.
Transfers to and from fairly priced and easily arranged with the very kind and helpful Giuseppe
You should head to the Badia Rooms if you ever have chance. Thank you"
"We stayed here for the last 2 nights of our Sicily road trip as it was near enough to Palermo airport (40 mins drive) but also by the beach. It turned out to be a great choice as the hotel itself was a great place to stay and very well located, near some excellent restaurants in the small, peaceful and charming town of Castellammare del Golfo.
Parking was on-site, easy to access and free, and check in was good with very friendly, helpful reception staff. The room itself was also very good, it was clean spacious and well equipped, with a small balcony with partial sea views.
Breakfast here was also really good, with lots of very good food options and smiling, friendly service.
The only negative was the furniture around the pool (loungers etc.) were a bit dated and weren’t up to the high standards of the rest of the hotel. We would definitely stay here again though."
"Our recent three-night stay at Sopra Le Mura in Castellammare del Golfo was once again an excellent experience and marked our second visit to this wonderful hotel. Having stayed previously, we returned with high expectations, and we are pleased to say the hotel delivered the same warmth, comfort and hospitality that we remembered.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine friendliness and made to feel immediately at home. The standout feature of the hotel is undoubtedly the staff, who create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. In particular, Gabriella and Frederica deserve special recognition for their exceptional service. Both were consistently warm, professional, helpful and approachable throughout our visit. They always greeted us with a smile, took time to answer questions and were happy to assist with anything we needed, making us feel genuinely valued as guests.
As returning visitors, it was especially nice to be recognised and welcomed back. Gabriella and Frederica provided excellent local recommendations and also helped us arrange a half-day boat excursion. This proved to be one of the highlights of our trip, giving us the opportunity to explore the stunning coastline and enjoy spectacular sea views.
Our sea-view room was another highlight. The room was comfortable and well maintained, with everything required for a relaxing stay."
