Villa Carlo Resort

"The property location is off and the navigators get confused on how to get there. It’s about 12-15 minutes drive to the city center. There are two grocery stores about 5-10 minutes drive. The villa is nice, nice pool, lounge chairs, the stuff is very helpful and friendly, mostly clean and most of the amenities are in working conditions. No restaurants, shops near buy - it’s in the middle of nowhere. Nothing is walkable. The breakfast is poor - the food placed before the cafe is open for it so even coffee is served lukewarm- there is a microwave and you are offered to warm up the coffee that was just served there as well as some food."

"Very nice place and well maintained, stunning views and pool area with drinks and snacks are beautiful Staff friendly , at check in we find out our reserved room involves climbing lots of stairs even receptionist offered help with luggage i asked for room in main building with elevator and took the smaller room Food at restaurant not good at all and I didn’t like it server was pushing for expensive wine And they keep asking for Tip Even after check out email a link to electronic TIP Very unusual in Italy , you definitely need car to get around and drive is hilly"

"The hotel doesn't have parking. We had to park in the city parking lot and pay the meter. It wasn't a big deal since it's right across the street from the hotel. Check-in was very nice. Giovanni, the receptionist, was very welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't working in the entire building!!! The room was incredibly hot. We opened the window, and mosquitoes invaded the room because the screen had a large hole. Giovanni, was very kind and managed to get us a small fan, which, to be honest, made more noise than it did any relief from the heat. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of options and the waiters were very attentive."

"My friend and I stayed at this hotel. We arrived on Sunday morning. We have friendly shuttle driver drop us off at the apartment and we were told receptionist won't be arriving until an hour. He suggested to go have breakfast which we did. Two hrs later we came back to the apartment tried to check-in. We saw a fews guys then they left. We approached receptionist, who seem confused and unfriendly look at us and I have to initiate about checking-in. He said apartment was not cleaned yet, but will be later. He hands us key and said come back after cleaning done and he will text and let us know. He explained apartment will be cleaned daily and towels will replace on 3rd day. Three hrs later we got text we can moved into room. It was not what we see on hotel.com advertisement. It was not as clean, bed was not made. There were no blankets or pillows. We have to look around for pillows and blankets that were placed in dresser and armoire. So we have to make our own bed. We used the same towel the whole week There were no towels replacement. Not as clean or sanitize. Each day they only come and pickup trash. No cleaning and no cleaned towels that was promised. Time to leave apartment for our flight on last day. We were told we need to pay 25 Euro while contracts said free shuttle from and to Airport. It was free from airport, but we have to pay going back to airport. It was misleading. I would not recommend this apartment. Very bad service."

"The pool is wonderful, with a beautiful view and access to a small private beach, which is small but very charming. Breakfast is varied and good. The hotel has great potential due to its location and structure. However, it lacks management and attention to detail. Upon arrival, we entered through a large gate leading to a courtyard with several doors, but there were no signs indicating where the reception or parking was located, nor were there staff available to welcome or guide guests. Signage inside the hotel is also poor, and even finding the main restaurant was difficult. The service is very basic, with no warmth or friendliness, which does not match the standards expected of a resort. Our room was on the second floor, accessible only by a narrow and steep external staircase, which was very inconvenient with heavy luggage. At the pool, although the area is pleasant, there were no towels available, and we had to walk all the way to the reception, which was far away, to get them. On one morning, the music was excessively loud and not appropriate for a relaxing atmosphere. In addition, the pool bathrooms had plastic structures, including the walls, which felt makeshift and not up to resort standards. Overall, this hotel has great potential, but it clearly lacks professional management and attention to detail to truly match the level expected of a resort."
