"Easy to find, parking is behind the building, in room air conditioning, lots of knick knacks tells the story of how much heart and energy they put into making you feel like you are staying in a historical museum. Would definitely recommend 👌 👍. When we are in cedar city again for a weekend away, this is on the top of our list to stay at again."
"Great little hotel. Has a indoor pool & hot tub, Rooms where updated and clean & I must say the breakfast was the best I have had in a while. Also loved the QR code for tipping, I don't carry much cash these days and feel guilty when I don't leave one, hope that catches on. I'll be back later in the season, want to get the hot tub suite on my next visit"
"Good to see Hotel is under construction because it’s very outdated. Our room was clean but old. Walls seem to be paper thin as I could hear the man next door coughing all night. I only stayed 1 of 3 scheduled nights. I wouldn’t recommend till after construction is completed."
"The staff was great. Helpful and friendly and helped us to handle a very sticky situation caused by an unruly guest, not related to the property. We were close to just leaving to avoid the issue that was caused by this person, but Management was able to come to the lobby and handle the issue personally and we felt comfortable staying as originally planned.
We do travel with a small companion dog, my service animal. The facilities were accommodating and comfortable for traveling with a pet. The room itself was clean and well-appointed, but the linens were a little worn. That would be my only complaint. We will stay here again. Thank you "
"We stayed in the one bedroom studio with kitchen and we loved the room because the living area was spacious and room was clean. The kitchen had all the simple amenities you need. The only thing I wish we knew was that the rooms did not have AC and it was super warm 78 degrees in room but it felt hotter. We had staff turn the pilot off on fireplace too because even with it off the pilot was emitting heat and the windows don’t open all the way. There was a fan in room which was nice but when we requested for another box fan, we did not use it. It was filthy. Not sure if it was dirt or mold. The staff was nice and when we needed to request towels or help, they came quick. The other downside is if you are staying in building 2 or 3 you have to walk to building one to use the pool, coffee shop, gift shop. They are not connected. "
"The elevator was out of order, yet we were initially given a room on the 4th floor even though the staff was aware that it wasn’t working. That would have meant carrying our luggage up several flights of stairs. Thankfully, another staff member assisted us and moved us to a room on the 2nd floor."
"An Expedia browser glitch caused my booking to get confirmed a week later that I had entered.
Neither Expeida nor the Best Western would help fix the problem, they each deferred to the other for approval, but neither one would give the approval.
I ended up paying for a room I did not use."
