It was designed and planted by Guy de La Brosse, the physician of the king in 1626 as a medicinal herb garden for King Louis XIII. . Service and hotel was very good. It was clean and staff were friendly and promptly helped with any questions and requests. Only negative would be the sofabed in the other room, it was sunken in the middle and not very comfortable.
