"This was a lovely clean modern hotel with a great little
pool and sauna area - perfect to relax in. The town is such a nice small but lively place and the hotel is in a great location to explore. Rooms are big and nice. The staff were great and helpful. We charged our electric car overnight in their car park, which was very convenient, although we had an issue unplugging the car the next morning. "What an unexpected treasure Château de La Ballue. I had booked this stay while touring the Normandy beach landings for just one night. What a shame we were only there for such a brief time. The home is charming and beautiful. The room was perfection and the grounds were such a surprise. I had no idea they were world class manicured gardens complete with a labyrinth!
