Boutique Hotel Kon Tiki Tahiti

"We stayed for only one night after a week at Bora Bora. Our room was clean, functional, and larger than expected. We had a nice view of the ferry building and harbor. The bed was comfortable; the bathroom shower was large. A suggested improvement would be that the room could use a lamp around the coffee maker/desk area. The lighting in the closets were very bright and we had to open the closet doors to help illuminate the rest of the room. Kudos to the staff who were all very helpful and responsive! The availability of the tropical terrace to hang out after check out and before catching our flight home was a greatly appreciated amenity. There was free WiFi, access to bathrooms, water & ice, shower facilities there. Other guests were nice and respectful when using that space. The price of a comparable room was on the high side by USA standards but Tahiti is very expensive in general. We would return to Hotel Kon Tiki for a short term stay in Papeete again."

"very nice Hotel - Food was good. Restaurant staff is very nice but needs more training. Too long of a wait for service and food. Hotel was clean. Rooms were amazing. a Bit far from downtown but there is transportation(Taxi is around $40 one way to airport) Front desk staff was very accommodating and professional. Beautiful people Spa was too pricey and small."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped me a couple of times with a taxi, recommended a place to eat and also had a bowl and spoon I could use for my breakfast. The hotel isn’t anything fancy but it’s clean, quiet, and safe. It’s walking to downtown and convenient."

"Adorable, newly decorated hotel. Spent one night here between flight and ferry to neighboring island. Would happily stay multiple nights. Ferry terminal is a 5 minute walk away, as is the expansive public market. We did not pony up for the continental breakfast so cannot comment on that. Room is comfortable and the bathroom has a nice walk in shower. Staff was excellent! Took advantage of the washer and dryer on the floor as well. Some noise travels easily in the hallways, I think because of the laminate floors, but this was a non factor for us. Good value! We highly recommend!"

"All Staff were very professional, accomodating, very friendly and give you with special treatment. Hotel Manager Daniel Maruhi was very pleasant accomodate us in the same room. And Concierge Fara was able to give us all the directions and shops to go around the island. Love this place. Definitely going back again. Foods were good. Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. Panoramic Over the Water Bungalow is worth the price. And I will definitely come back again this this place. Highly recommended. Super clean resort and not crowded. Then head to St Regis Bora Bora next after."
