"We had a last minute trip to kalymnos staying at Alkyonis apartments hosted by the lovely Evi who in spite of flight delays kept well In touch with us by email as well as text message. The warmest welcome greeted us on our arrival and Evi's kindness and helpful manner continued all week. The apartments are perfect for a comfortable stay in a beautiful quiet relaxing area of the island. We have loved staying so much that we are already planning our return next year. "A bright spacious apartment with a great view. Well equipped with everything you will need. A five minute walk, to possibly the largest supermarket on the island. The bus stop is opposite the supermarket. Two coves with beaches, are a fifteen minute walk. The owner is friendly and helpful! A handy hint.... Try Marinos Restaurant. "Overall a good resort with plenty of entertainment and decent food and drinks. The rooms could use a renovation and feel a bit outdated. The reception staff was friendly but sometimes gave contradicting information on making reservations in the restaurant and about reserving a shower spot in the Lobby ‘Courtesy Room’. All the staff was forthcoming and friendly and it was overall a good stay. "

"The Neptune Luxury Resort is exactly as I hoped it would be. From the friendly, and hard working, staff to amenities and beautiful grounds creating a feeling of space. My room was near the beach and was almost perfect as it had twin beds and I was a solo traveller. The room Wi-Fi was super fast and the fixtures and fittings well designed and of good quality. The bathroom was large with a rainfall shower which was powerful and easy to use. My room was cleaned perfectly everyday with no concerns about intrusive maids. The simple cards left at the rear of your front door, informing whether you were in and did not wish to be disturbed to the alternative informing you were away and would like your room cleaned is diligently followed. The beach and choice of pools are all excellent, although I spent most of my stay exploring the island each day. I did use the hotel`s gym every day and it was clean, well equipped and adequate to my training routines. A water dispenser is supplied, along with clean, fresh towels. I visited the hotel`s spa once, for a massage, and this was also worth the visit. Lovely, professional staff who listened to what I required and made the experience with their knowledge and kindness. I stayed half-board and both the breakfast and evening meal were up with the best I`ve experienced anywhere in the world. Again, staff knowledgeable and genuinely patient and kind. Check-in and check-out both professional, concise and fuss free. All in all, a great stay."
