"The breakfast had the usual offerings. The room was clean with LV flooring. Much more sanitary than carpeting. The AC kept us cool. The hallway was quiet. They accept pets which is a big plus for us. We always stay at this hotel when coming to Lubbock."

"Rated 8-9 stars is crazy this hotel was a complete dump. Dirty super outdated not the nicest staff. Most uncomfortable bed every, zero noise control you can hear everything on your entire floor. Do not recommend."

"It was clean enough. The towels are old, not soft, and not very absorbent. Not enough towels in the room for both of us to get a shower. Water pressure somewhat anemic. The laundry needs more than just one old washer and one old dryer. It was nice that the front desk had a supply of quarters. The next food at the next door Whataburger made my husband sick."

"The motel was very clean at least my room was. It was very quiet. I had a good night sleep restroom were very clean. The restroom was big very roomy. I loved that about the restroom. I just think I paid a little too much."

"The room had a lot of broken things. The lights next to the beds didn’t work. The hot water knob on the bathroom sink had water leaking from it whenever you turned it on. The toilet paper was cheap. I booked a room for 3 people with 2 beds but they only gave us 2 towels. The pool and hot tub were pretty dirty which I get West Texas winds and dirt so not sure they can help that. We had a charge to our room for breakfasts which we didn’t eat or charge to the room and have yet to get a call that it’s been corrected. Otherwise the hotel was pretty clean and staff were really nice. I just expected more from the Overton. I was going to Tech when it was being built and our family usually gets Airbnbs or we stay with friends and family when we go to Lubbock but we wanted to stay at the Overton for once and it was kind of disappointing."

"The breakfast was excellent and well prepared and very easy to access and the parking felt very safe. I have stayed there before and the Neighbourhood and area seemed very safe."
