"This hotel is average . I stayed here for 6 nights with my husband . We noticed a lot of refurbishments work being carried out in the hotel during our stay. This hotel has all the facilities including a fully equipped gym and spa. The main reception area , main pool and our room were stunning and excellent. However, a fair amount of repair and refurbishments are required in other areas . We especially loved the thermal pool, ( the local area is known for natural hot springs ) however, this needs regular maintenance as it was unusable on one of the days, which was sadly very disappointing. My husband and I really enjoyed the spa treatments we received, the Balinese masseurs were very professional and polite. The spa manager provided us with very hospitable and friendly service. We enjoyed half board at Lycus River and the food was varied and delicious .Overall, the staff here at the hotel are extremely hard working and polite. In my opinion they are very customer focused . I am confident, with the necessary refurbishments and pristine maintenance, Lycus River could easily be an excellent 5 star hotel.

"This hotel was amazing, I would absolutely recommend it. Resort style pool, great spa with Turkish bath (I'd never had one before) at a reasonable price, massive dinner and breakfast buffet included, clean, everything you would want from a hotel!"

"This property is very well established and has nice amenities for spa and thermal activities. Sibel hanim in housekeeping was very good and supplied us with great service and she went above and beyond! We are always happy to come back to this property!"
