"This is probably the best place to stay in Tropea. It is good prices, clean and very good rooms, and the owner Francesco is fantastic. He is so helpful, and a really great guy. "an elegant villa close to the town, 10 minute walk. Italian sized room ( we had a standard room) so smallish, a bed, two side table, tight bathroom, wardrobe that was not user friendly with the doors opening into each other and the bathroom .... ie all door open out into each other. No specified area for your luggage except the floor Everything in the room is new/modern What I personally missed the most was a vibe, it almost felt like it had just opened and the staff were on tender toes. We booked at De Minimi - beautiful stylized food, curated, elegant, Michelin quality - divine. Popular tracks, piano style, played and service was well explained yet no joie de vie ..... it was quite restrained. the pool is not heated and cold - supper fresh for October, no really swimmable, the furniture is comfortable and great to lounge upon, The gym is free weights. Staff were amazing, spoke wonderful English if needed and made all possible."

"The resort was as advertised and did not disappoint; great location with access to beaches, historic centre charm, shopping and dining. The property was well maintained, rooms clean and comfortable. From arrival with a welcoming prosecco to departure the staff from front desk, housekeeping, and dining were courteous, friendly and helpful. We didn’t feel rushed and were pleasantly surprised to interact with the GM (Matteo) daily. Special shoutout to Nicoletta from the front desk for her charm, helpfulness and overall pleasant attitude. The airport transfer was arranged by the hotel and was seamless. The only improvement is really on us to have booked early enough to get a room with a French balcony."

"The staff was helpful, but there were issues with our room: a smell emanating from the shower, a toilet that periodically would keep running and therefore unable to be flushed, and when we wanted to open a bottle of wine, the staff could not find a corkscrew on-site. We had to ask a nearby bar to open the bottle for us. Later that evening, a staff member showed up with corkscrew and two wine glasses but it was too late. At the price paid, it’s not too much to expect a corkscrew. Also no coffee in the room, just tea. All in all, we enjoyed the stay, and the views are incredible, and the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was terrific. Just a few minor things lacking."

Not sure if can park on streets. Very busy. Walked to beach. Sanctuary of santa maria (looks like a castle on water) was well worth visiting. Water beach is beautiful. Great breakfast."
