"Disappointed in the breakfast, they didn’t have any protein, (just cereal and waffles) not even bread. The night before check in they email me there’s no pool as it’s been close for a well bc they have construction going on. Ask how long the construction’s been going on the reply I get it won’t disturb you. You won’t hear it. Wake up at 5 AM to them working in the parking lot. felt some what ok because they had security but besides that person walking about, not the safes with children. Disappointed overall. "

"Property wants pets because they get 30 dollars a night per dog. Spent 3 nights for 180 dollars and the room was never cleaned a definite ripoff for pet owners. Room had dirty floors and the only available room on ground floor was a single king size bed"

"Close to all convenient major thoroughfares to Escondido and easy to get to downtown San Diego. This is a family owned establishment and you really feel that - warm, friendly, helpful, safe. This is also wirhin walking distance to the San Diego chapter of the Elks."

"Clean rooms, staff was professional. the smoke detector didn’t have a battery tho. need a permit for free parking but not sure if it mattered because it’s was open to park anywhere. deposit was returned. stay was good. no issues with guests being loud. didn’t really notice noise from the freeway with the hotel being right off the exit. the towels were clean but thin and not as absorbent. tv, microwave, small fridge, clock, iron, hair dryer, shampoo, liquid soap, clean sheets, desk, all good."

"we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Comfort Inn in Escondido. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was clean with an added touch of snacks in the room. The buffet breakfast was great. A wide variety of breakfast food for everyone to enjoy. The hot tub was very relaxing and enjoyable. A hotel will choose again for our future trips."

"Front office personnel was not welcoming, seemed like they would get bothered when asking questions. The bath tub was clogged. We were in the dining area eating breakfast, staff turned off juice/yokurt machine, closed all breakfast area exactly at 9am not caring kids had just gotten there at 8:55am not caring if they had finished serving themselves. Overall very bad experience!!!!"
