"I had a handicap room on the 2nd floor. The pillowcases had an old smell as so did the bed. The room my daughter stayed in was room 217. She had a street view which she stated that she didnt care as she was in the room only 2 days that week. The staff was extremely pleasant, food there was costly. It would have been great if there was a shuttle to LAX, but completely understood the traffic. "

"This is a simple hotel with all the basics. The room I had was spacious and came with all the necessities. The staff are very friendly and give great service during check in and check out. The coffee station available in the morning actually makes decent coffee. I appreciated that there was a safe parking lot to park in overnight. "

"the wait for the check-in line was rather long and time consuming. (maybe ten minutes in line) There were five guests ahead of me in line, later ten more people behind me. Consider adding more front desk clerks. However, once I got to the front desk, Maria was very helpful and professional. Additionally she confirmed my inclusive parking fee and graciously gave me a late check out time. "

"The pool was a nice treat, shopping next door and Hollywood Stars were right out the front door. Breakfast buffet was nice as it had nice options. The bed was very comfortable. I’d stay here again. "

"I enjoyed my stay at the Freehand and will definitely choose them again for my next LA trip. There were some smudges of someone's makeup on the wall near the mirror and the desk table had some damage on it but otherwise the room was clean. The room I chose faced a street with a bar and there was some noise from people standing out front late at night but otherwise it was a peaceful stay. The rooftop bar is wonderful and open til midnight which made it a great option for a night cap without having to leave the hotel and the lobby lounge was a great option for getting work done during the day. A little busy but I found a spot and the cafe integral staff was very kind and accommodating. "
