This is a tough one to review. First of all I have to say the staff are absolutely lovely, really friendly and helpful. The hotel itself has seen better days and is really in need of an update.

Great location couple stay

Lovely stay! Staff very helpful and polite. Location of hotel perfect for airport, beaches, restaurants and nearby towns. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice and very good value. Definitely recommend and would visit again.

I arrived at the hotel for early check-in and there was a room available. At first, the staff member had a difficult time finding my reservation and there was some confusion regarding the name it was booked under. He was very polite throughout this process, and reassured me that it would be OK and I'd still have a place to stay regardless. He helped to alleviate the anxiety I had when hearing my reservation couldn't be found (I had travelled from far!). After a few minutes, we realized the error with the name and he confirmed my reservation with no issues. This staff member also helped me with bus directions to the Cathedral and explained things clearly and efficiently. I was happy with the early check-in, the kindness of the staff, and the comfort of the room. The hotel room was a bit small but clean and the shower functioned well. My room faced the main road which was a bit noisy so I slept with ear plugs and had no problems.

The hotelrooms are a bit outdated and there are persistent stains over surfaces. Room did not cost much, so it is obvious that you get what you pay for. The balcony doors are not soundproof, so you will hear all the cars, buses and traffic on the streets 24/7, also the airport noise. I have been in different hotels at Can Pastilla, and haven't have problems with the noise, but this was different... Room could have been cleanier, there were quite much sand and darks hair on the floor (mine are blond), but still overall OK. Air-con works well, bed was very hard, hot water in the shower takes time, very short walk to busstop or to nearest Eroski shop, many restaurants all around, nice and long beach near. Breakfast was awesome and that is almost the most important point to me when on vacation. There were everyhing and more! Breads, cereals, youghurts, veggies and fruits, cheeses, hams, eggs, bacon, desserts, juices, coffees etc. All beatifully placed. Would go again, if the price will be low. And definitely would take earplugs with me. For sleeping, showering and breakfast this hotel works OK.

Not ideal for light sleepers, otherwise good.

Convenient close to the beach and shopping area, supermarket and bakery/coffee shop around the corner, and also easy to get to from the airport.. would be excellent for anyone who is not a light sleeper.. unfortunately the sound of airplanes flying over kept us awake in the evenings and woke us up in the morning. Otherwise great location.

The room had ants and they were biting. They were in the bathroom, in our beds, everywhere. And it seemed like it’s not just our room. I appreciate that they upgraded my room bcs I had birthday but the quality of the room wasn’t that good. Staff was overall pleasant but seems like they were always super busy. Food was okay.

Checked in late and paid for breakfast and let them know we have a very early flight. Can I have a refund. She was rude. Ok then asked for something quiet because we only had time for a few hours of sleep. She put us on the first floor outside of elevator. She wasn’t service oriented what so ever. Could have cared less.

Fabulous breakfast. Great staff - friendly and helpful. Small but clean room. A bit of road noise but to be expected in view of central location. We only had a one night stopover stay so not long enough to comment on the environs. Would use again.
