Iberostar Waves Club Palmeraie Marrakech -All Inclusive
6/10 Okay
"Perfect if you are French and like feral children. Pool music far too loud for relaxing. Hotel room very noisy as overlooked garden near outside area. Avoid!! Mawda on reception was the most unhelpful human ive ever met and was very dismissive of our enquiry to a lost item. All other staff ok but noticeably more accomadating to french guests. Hotel was very clean and food choices acceptable. Room was spacious but noisy. Shuttle bus into Marrakech was reliable but dropped off a long way away from The Medina, approx 40 minute walk. "

Be Live Experience Marrakech Palmeraie - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"This is a fantastic hotel for a family holiday. We went with our 3 year old, and there was plenty to do in the daytime and entertainment in the evening. The swimming pool has a great shallow / paddling section, and the splash pool with little slides is great. The kids club is quite well equipped, and the playground and trampoline were a really great addition too.
The staff were all super friendly, probably the best I’ve ever encountered in a hotel anywhere!. The buffets were good - I really enjoyed some of the Moroccan dishes, and of course there were also the general hotel buffet dishes, so there is something for everyone. The drinks were fine- the wine was quite nice and the piña coladas were very tasty!
There were lots of families with children there - ranging from babies to older children, all having a lovely time, so it’s really ideal if you have a family. The evening entertainment included dancing for the children for half an hour before the main entertainment. But there were also plenty of couples /groups of friends too, so I would say the hotel suits everyone. "

"A Solid 4-Star Experience (But Manage Your 5-Star Expectations)
Stay: February 2026 | Resort: Pickalbatros Hotel du Golf
Let me start by clarifying the rating: this resort is advertised as a 5-star property. If you are expecting the luxury level of a Four Seasons, Fairmont, or Le Méridien, you will be disappointed. I would realistically rank it as a high 3-star or a solid 4-star. That being said, if you adjust your expectations, it is still a very decent resort and we had a pleasant stay overall.
Here is the breakdown of my experience:
The Property & Rooms
• Clean and Modern: The public areas and rooms are fairly modern, well-maintained, and very clean. My bedroom was well-appointed and comfortable.
• Room Amenities: While daily tea and bottled water were always provided, I would have really appreciated an ironing board and a coffee maker in the room. The bedrooms have fairly thick doors so the rooms are really quiet at night.
• No Construction: I noticed some previous reviews mentioned ongoing construction, but I am happy to report that I didn’t see or hear any construction noise during my stay.
Food & Drinks
• Great Buffet: The various buffets are a highlight, providing a fairly large selection. They feature outdoor grilling and tagines, a pasta station, and many other options.
• Mediterranean Restaurant Quirk: We made a reservation at the Mediterranean restaurant (a short shuttle drive from the main hotel). Strangely, this alternative dining option only served water and s"

Hotel Riu Tikida Palmeraie - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Great great hotel for families! Their service was great, good food that you don't need to spend more $ going to a restaurant (unless you'd like to try one), plenty of activities for kids (pool, kids club, night dancing). Close to downtown but not in the middle of all the happenings which we liked specially since we traveled with our 3yr old."

Valeria Dar Atlas Resort All Inclusive
2/10 Terrible
"My family and I travel alot atleast 4-5 holidays a year. We have stayed in many hotels however this was the worst experience ever.
1. The room was so dirty full of ants, flies. Corners of room walls full of dust. Bed dirty. Sheets yellow stained. Towels yellow stained all the time. My 3 year old woke up with bites all over her face and body and we have been back for days and she still has scars. We have been itching since.
2. Restaurant food was another chaos. Evening meal was okay ish however breakfast and lunch literally no options. 30 minutes wait for chips for kids. Especially on our last day which was a Saturday literally no breakfast options left.
3.water and juices in the machines smelt of pool water.
4. Bar side cafe never had anything, according to advert and the welcome paper supposedly has food and drinks though the day. There was always nothing until 5pm some waffles.
This is supposed to be an all inclusive experience.
This is suppose to be 4*. Noway even 2* is too much.
I asked for a kettle in the room. After 24 hours i was told they found one and I should pick up from reception and take it to do room if i pay deposit. I asked for a few coffee tea bags . They said i need to buy it from the shops. Also i needed to pay deposit for the second hand very cheap kettle.
Everything was bad.
We are very upset to have wasted our money.
I hope nobody else books in this hotel.
Lastly we booked for a family of 4 and only 2 pillows and 1 duvet was given after begging."
