"We enjoyed our stay at Marriott’s Shadow Ridge overall and had several wonderful experiences with the staff and service. From the moment we arrived, the service at check-in was wonderful. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and made us feel comfortable right away. We also had excellent service at the Snake Bites Pool Bar. The bar staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and provided great service, which made our time by the pool even more enjoyable. I also absolutely loved the text message communication service offered by the resort. It was so convenient to be able to communicate directly with the hotel by text whenever we had a question or needed assistance. Responses were helpful and made everything much easier throughout our stay. Unfortunately, we did experience an issue involving the pool that was disappointing and affected part of our family experience. However, I truly appreciated that management listened to our concerns and made an effort to accommodate us. Danielle, the Front Desk Supervisor, was especially understanding and helpful and extended a 12:00 PM late checkout for our full two-bedroom villa. Despite the unfortunate pool situation, there were many things we really enjoyed about our stay. The friendly staff, great service, beautiful resort, and convenient communication really stood out. Thank you to Danielle and the entire Marriott’s Shadow Ridge team for making the effort to ensure we still left with a positive experience."

"The room was clean but the bath tub needs a deep cleaning. Tub surrounding area had black mold. I was not comfortable of taking a bath. It’s my opinion but the room would be nice to have room brighter. I felt room was dark. Breakfast yes it’s free and including with the room but since there were only few room was occupied they moved to a smaller room and provided a new coffee maker and no one knew how it worked. I had to get instructions online how to use it."
