The Canopy by Hilton was a great choice. Easy walk to the waterfront area, shopping and Clematis St. where lots of the restaurants were located. And if you didn't feel like venturing out the hotel had two restaurants, with one being located on the rooftop. Very fun!!

Last year we visited the hotel for the first time we had a great experience. This year was even better Santiago the hotel, assistant manager is phenomenal. He embodies the term hospitality recommend this hotel anyone visiting West Palm Beach walking distance to restaurants, shopping parks. They have a terrific rooftop lounge, great food and drinks.

There is a small-ish shopping area and some standalone “niche” clothing stores within walking distance. Cross the bridge to Palm Beach and you’ll have access to high end shopping. There is also an outlet mall that we did not visit, but did drive by and seemed like it would be a short Lyft ride away. The pool was really nice, unfortunately there aren’t many chairs so get there early! We had lunch poolside one day and that was nice- many good lunch options at the TreeHouse bar that shares the outdoor terrace with the pool. My only “mehs” were every time we stepped off the elevator on the floor where our room was, it smelled like stale smoke and old lady perfume… and if you drive, the only option for parking is valet. You must pay the entire valet bill ahead of time in order to request your vehicle which I don’t think was explained well. Tips can be given with a link that they text and there is also a QR code if you’d prefer.
