"What a fantastic find! These maisonettes are fabulous. Lots of space with a kitchenette, table, decent sized bathroom and a mezzanine. Didnt use the mezzanine but would be ideal if you were travelling with children. Patio outside was lovely with table and chairs, a huge parasol and a lovely corner rattan sofa. Pool & pool bar were part of the Palatino Hotel but able to be used by the maisonettes. Both were spotless with plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The kids pool was under the bar roof so...

"Every staff person we encountered from check in, breakfast, to check out was lovely. This is a family run hotel and the care taken is evident. We were there at a quieter time and they have us a complementary upgrade. The room was fantastic, great views, it was pristinely clean and the bed was comfortable (a king size no less!) Breakfast was amazing- some buffet pastry type things plus your choice of individually prepared omelets. We really enjoyed Lixouri, it is quiet and low key, but...

"The rooms were not equipped , seriously how can you not have bottled water in the fridge when it’s 38 degree Celsius outside for your guest on arrival , tea and coffee facility was zero no coffee no tea bags .. we where on our honeymoon, we requested a double bed and got two single beds , I speak Greek and of course it was the ole I don’t care attitude and yes you have a lovely room ! NOT THE CASE … the property is dated old and the rooms need a major facelift as do does the service.."
