"This feels like a harsh rating, after seeing so many high ratings, but I was pretty disappointed with my stay here. I visited many other Havelis in Jodhpur, to eat at their rooftop restaurants, and all of them were cleaner, had more staff working, and had other people staying there. "The property looks old and decrepit. The spa was not functional. It did not have a resort feeling to it. It was modest. The rooms were clean but the beds and towels were old. The tub did not drain well. It was very basic. They have much upgrading to do. "

"One of the best stays that I’ve ever had. The property is beautifully designed - like a hidden cache of green, fertile ground in a desert. The staff demonstrated high attentiveness without the overwrought, hammy nonsense that you receive throughout India. Instead, the staff seemed kind and dignified - an attitude commensurate with the beauty of the facility. The hotel advised us, at checkin, that we should not tip anyone until checkout - at which time, the hotel would share our tip across its staff. The room was super comfortable with a large, well-appointed bathroom. We enjoyed the pool (where the staff would occasionally serve complimentary snacks (eg roasted corn-on-the-cob, sweet lassi, etc…). We really enjoyed the hotel restaurant more than other food venues in the city. No complaints! Really great place!"

"Amazing hotel! The Experience I have was incredible. The chef every morning was attentive, friendly and shared with my different food options to try, this was more than just a buffet. The most special moment was when I was sitting in the car and Bharat Singh came to me with a special souvenirs. What a moment! I will definitely come back with my tour with family and friends. "

"Excellent service, awesome decor and fantastic food. Our in hotel experience was really, really good. The car service arranged by the travel desk was also excellent. We however did not have a good experience with the guide arranged by the travel desk. We were more interested in sightseeing but the guide was more interested in taking us shopping. Very pushy and very, very exhausting. We would recommend that you use the car service and recommendations for places to visit from the travel desk but not the full day guide. "
