"My friend and I had a great stay here. The property feels very isolated but still close enough to "civilization" for you to pick up what you need, forgot, or ran out of during your trip. We went to a local gas station got extra ice and water and were back in about an hour.
We did have a few encounters with wildlife (I'm no expert but one seemed like a bobcat which followed us while we were walking the puppy in the early morning, and the other looked like a wolf which kept its distance but still gave us a scare). Other than that it was pretty peaceful.
We had to move cabins the second day of our visit due to some black mold in the bathroom of the first cabin. But the staff was very willining to accomodate by providing a different cabin for us to stay. We over packed a bit so moving our stuff and puppy twice was a hassle but afterwards we were able to settle in nicely.
The grounds are well kept. Aside from some minor rutting along the exterior roads, our sedan was able to traverse the grounds with ease. There are dog poop stations throughout for those who may consider bringing their dog.
The staff were very attentive and stopped by everyday to replenish our destination package amenities (coffee, hot chocolate, smores kit, popcorn, and tea) and any other items we requested such as fresh towels and washcloths. The cabin was equipped with everything advertised and allowed for us to have a very pleasant "home-away-from-home" kind of vibe.
Thank you to the staff!"
