Only thing, my girl slipped and fell at the bar area after she came out of the pool running to get her drink. Her fault for not paying attention-Maria was kind and helpful. Love the breakfast variety, we ate every item on the happy hour menu and drinks was superb! We would like to return since our 18 members of our group liked it better than Boracay beach front hotels. Totally an awesome place to relax and enjoy!! "

"This was my second stay at the Reef Strand. Last year I was there before the remodel. The place has a great new look and I'd call it a gem. Owner and most of the staff go out of their way to make things run smoothly. If your looking for a loud party haven it's not there. At the Reef you'll find peace and relaxation. However, if you want to stay up all night and drink till the sun comes up the staff will be gladly tuk tuk you to where the nights run into the day. Rates are reasonable considering pricing in the other 3 and 3 1/2 star hotels and all the meals I've eating there were very good. So if your going to EL NIdo it's well worth checking in, you'll prob be back for a second or third time like me. "
