"Because we were only stopping for 2 nights we weren't too particular as to the room so chose the cheapest option but in retrospect we should have picked one next to the pool. We were in an annexe a 20meters away and it was a small room, though it did provide an effective ac unit, tea and coffee facilities, hit shower, clean towels both days, mosquito net, and it was clean and well presented. The main rooms surround the pool and are better proportioned. The owner and the staff are very pleasant...

Top Paje Hotel Reviews

Aluna Paje

10/10 Excellent

"This is a well-managed property in the heart of Paje. I had a great experience overall. My room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfy and there was a lovely outdoor patio where I could even do some laptop work on occasion. The beach and everything else were within walking distance. The staff were friendly, accommodating and very professional. Five stars well earned!"

Villa Huruma

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely loved my two nights here at Villa Huruma. It’s a small cozy hotel which I really prefer to the giant hotels. The property is beautiful with great decor and lots of plants. The pool was so refreshing and the chairs comfortable. Everything here looks very new from rhe tile around the pool to the cement flooring and walls in the room. The balcony was also a nice bonus though the view isn’t great it’s nice to relax in the evening breeze. The breakfast was top notch especially the eggs. Really liked having the electric plugs on the back of the bed so it was easy to use with the mosquito net down. The AC worked well and the water pressure in the shower was good. There are daily power outages but they never lasted more than a few moments and are common throughout the island. It’s very close to the beach and many restaurants. Definitely recommend and it’s been my favorite hotel so far."

Kivuli Beach Resort Paje

8/10 Good

"Loved the peace and quiet, beach although always windy, cleanliness and friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are basic and toiletries and towels not always replaced. Only one restaurant, food okay. Need stools instead of uncomfortable swings at the beach bar and a bit of TLC. Town 5 mins in car, walkable beach restaurants . No amenities except a rather isolated pool. Needs an enthusiastic manager. We still enjoyed our stay."
