Great place to stop. It was nice but on the outskirts of town. It doesn’t have a front desk so it was tricky checking in but the phone number that was posted did a great job of directing us and getting me a code to get in. They also gave good recommendations for places around town.
Really enjoyed our stay!! The cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious with lots of hot choices.
Only suggestion would be to put information about WiFi, breakfast and local information in the room itself. We had to hunt to find this as internet was spotty and the link provided in our email didn’t work. Otherwise it was a delightful stay!!
Very impressed with the updated rooms and very comfortable bed. Felt more like a boutique hotel vs. a roadside lodge. No-contact check-in system w/ code to enter room worked great. Breakfast was nice. You can tell the owners have put a lot of care/work into this property. My only complaint is the curtains need to be blackout; the exterior lights shown into my room all night.
We loved it, it was cozy, clean, close to Pagosa only wish the hiking trail was open… and maybe a little more light outside… other than that everything was great…! Enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back with the family…
Everything went very smoothly for us, but saw a family struggling to do the contactless check-in to their room. Make sure you get your check in details the morning of your arrival, and if you don’t receive them early that morning, make sure you start reaching out to the property quickly as there are no on-site attendants to assist you except during the breakfast. There is little phone service at the location.
Property is super clean. The rooms are modern, decorated very well, and clean. It’s located just outside of “downtown,” so you get great views of the stars at night and don’t have to worry about parking.
Everything there is worth the stay. From a good filling breakfast to a nice clean room. And friendly staff was helpful when when I had booking trouble through a third party company. Excellent stay
The best part of our stay was breakfast. The food was varied and delicious and the attendant was really nice. The dining area was clean.
The only thing I didn't care for was check-in. There isn't a front desk/lobby, so you have to call a number and wait for the person to put you in the system. That took about 20 minutes.
I stayed in a cabin and it was very clean quiet and comfortable. I have been here before in the lodge and will be back again. It is in a great location for Pagosa and Wolf Creek or other outdoor activities in the area.
Clean room, easy check in, and close to downtown Pagosa Springs. Double queen room was spacious, with a well appointed kitchenette and comfortable sofa and beds.
Room was clean. But no Kleenex. Nice property, newly remodeled. Room were real wood logs on the walls. Bathroom decorated very nicely. Breakfast was super good!
Staff was friendly and accommodating.
A down fall would be the walls and ceilings were not soundproof at all. Pretty noisy. Luckily I could get over that.
Very bear bones. No coffee maker, microwave.
Lucky I brought my own coffee maker.
All in all, I would probably stay again.
We had a wonderful stay! The area is beautiful, the location is excellent, and the cabin was cozy, comfortable, and perfect for a couple. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed.
We didn’t use the hot tub because we spent our time relaxing at the Pagosa hot springs resort instead. We only saw the staff once when we arrived, but we were busy exploring the area and didn’t need anything during our stay.
We noticed that some of the other cabins accommodated guests with large dogs, so it seems each cabin has different rules and sizes. Our cabin did not allow dogs, which was fine since it was on the smaller side and best suited for two people.
The location is fantastic! There’s a small, peaceful lake nearby, the hot springs are only about 8–10 minutes away, Treasure Falls is about 10 minutes away, and Walmart is just 18 minutes away. We also found several great restaurants within about 18 minutes, including Thai Pagosa and Faire Society Café & Patisserie for an excellent breakfast.
Overall, it was a comfortable, quiet, and relaxing place to stay, and we’d definitely recommend it.
