"Considering the price, we had high hopes for our stay at this house, but unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. Upon arrival, we found the property was not very clean. There was urine left in the upstairs toilet, the downstairs bathroom was dusty with hair around the toilet, and the bath mat had been folded up while still wet. "Excellent location, amazing staff esp the chatty ladies at reception who helped with bags and even upgraded us! Very short walk from the outlet place and port, also around 15m from town and bit more to the pier n beach. Limited parking is the only thing but we got on right outside luckily! Will come again! "

"A lovely hotel, that goes all-in with the railway theme. Although it is a pub-hotel, it has been recently refurbished, with all-electronic access, so nobody can get to the bedroom area unless they are staying there. Half-price food in the pub on Mondays was a pleasant surprise, and the friendly - if slightly quirky - staff were a joy to interact with. The room was comfortable, and the family room we stayed in had a separate bunk-bed area for the child, each bunk having its own light. Parking-wise, you can choose from the station car park, a one-minute walk away, or the free on-street parking on the station one-way system (Only free between 6pm and 9am) I would absolutely stay here again!"
