"Pros The junior suite was a great size with separate living room 👍 Good size bath Great aircon Easy location to walk from cruise port Easy access to town centre Check in from 1pm Negatives On very busy & noisy dual carriageway Tahiti is really really expensive - bring basics such as tea bags, toiletries etc No safe in room The pool is very small & repairs were ongoing so only space for 5 people Needs a makeover in foyer, seats ripped, ceiling tiles coming down WiFi is very basic, buffers a lot Kitchen in room only has kettle, cups, plates & forks - you can eat your takeout but not make anything Otherwise, a pleasant stay after a cruise."

"This will be one of two reviews I post from my trip to Tahiti - this resort has got to be the most amazing resort I’ve ever been to. The pools, the grounds, the service, and the actual Tahitian vibe (it’s a corporate hotel, but doesn’t feel like it). "The resort was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - especially the fresh pastries and the omelette bar manned by Heinz. The snorkeling right off shore was fabulous. If we ever are able to return to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora again!"
