"Had a great stay once again, food was good, staff were very helpful. Would be ideal if they had a small fridge in the room as we were there a couple of nights but it wasnt a show stopper. Some lovely parks nearby for walks."

"We had a fantastic stay for my birthday at Danesfield House Hotel and Spa and the team went above and beyond for the special occasion organising a free room upgrade, plus chocolates & a birthday card in the room. We hadn't been for a few years & I had forgotten what a lovely hotel this is, definitely a great choice for a special, luxurious stay & all the staff provide excellent service. "

"Was a nice hotel for the money, but don't expect super high end luxury. Paid for an upgraded room to have bath robes (had to ask for them) and Elemis toiertries (got handsoap and shampoo). The room was clean, although looking tired in places. For the money, I can't fault it, but as mentioned, don't expect a luxury spa experience. The gym, spa and pool are in another building, so not really the type of place you walk around in your slippers and robe (unless your comfortable walking through the carpark). The front of the building and reception areas do look grand, but you find the rear of the property to be a modern (guess 1960's) extension that sits awkwardly in the hotels grounds. Bonus points for being dog friendly!"
