"Cleanliness excellent. Spa and pool excellent. Restaurant menu has changed and for me was disappointing. Lots of steak choices. No salads rice or pasta dishes which I expect were on the bar menu. Unfortunately the bar has a TV on 24/7 so not an ideal alternative to the restaurant unless you can eat outside. Overall a lovely stay. For me the restaurant was the only disappointment..but that's a personal view from someone who has stayed for the past 6 years"

"Good room and bed, nice shower with a good quality shower gel. Breakfast excellent, and well laid out and executed. One massive gripe... paying for parking!! was not mentioned on Hotels.com, and was told if i book direct it would be waived. TBH i think this is awful, and i more than likely would have not booked as there were cheaper overall hotels in the area. Just waive all parking ..... and then very clear."

"The cottage slept 5 and while missing enough cutlery crockery and glasses for more than 2 people, we found it set up exceptionally well. The fixtures and fittings were all brand new, including beds, tables, chairs, flooring, mirrors, bedsides, cabinets and wardrobes, it really was very comfortable apart from the sofa bed that we felt was a bit old and worn in comparison to the rest of the cottage. The bathrooms (yes 2!) were absolutely beautiful, fab showers, marble finish and very high quality fittings. The cottage had a fridge with freezer box, a double hob, kettle, microwave and tea/coffee provided. Both the evening meal and breakfast in the signature grill were exceptional! The service was amazing, drinks prices very good and our servers went above and beyond, we are so happy with our stay and will definitely be back"
