"We were first offered an upstairs apartment but I explained my condition and was immediately offered a beautiful ground floor flat with all amenities We didn’t use them except the kettle and the shower was great The sitting area and bedroom was a lot better than expected All in all fully recommended for short or long stay. The town with its tree lined foot ways was a peaceful dream Parking was private and secure.. Thank you for our stay"

"Clean, spacious room. Very good soundproofing for external noise. Generally quiet but the noise of other room doors banging was disturbing during the night. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was okay, but expensive for a basic buffet - almost no vegetables available, fruit was a bit tired, so not much choice if you don’t want eggs, meat and bread."

"Excellent location, lovely, large room, comfortable bed & excellent powerful shower. Housekeeping only comes after three nights which isn’t great when you are staying four nights. Don’t need it every day but on a four night stay do it after the second night would be my suggestion. No tea/coffee making facilities."

"We were staying one night, breaking up a journey from Potsdam to Calais. The hotel was excellent for our needs, spacious bedroom, great bathroom and the breakfast was the best we experienced in 9 days in Germany and Belgium. My only word of caution is that the hotel whilst ideally placed for anyone travelling by train, it is about a 10/15 minute walk from the desirable part or Bielefeld. In fact the approach to the hotel was typified by run down shops and what appeared to be experiencing hard times. That said we would seek out Steinberger hotels if we are travelling in Germany again"
