We loved the architecture. I will say there was no place to put our luggage and clothing other than on the floor. The toilet ran off and on during the night. There were holes near the bathroom vanity where perhaps a towel rack once existed (no place to hang a towel). Also the "cabinet" by the outside ...

Sierra Inn on the River
Easy access to slopes. Good breakfast spot next door. Nice touch with the free pastries. Only downside was check in process since it there was no one at the counter. The guy left the key under the door mat.

The staff was really helpful and friendly. Towel animal on bed was great. The rooms and lobby were charming.
