"We were only in the room for less than 8 hrs due to a flight connection. The AC unit was louder than any AC unit I’ve ever experienced. Worse than the ones down the Jersey shore in the beach side motels."

"Having been to Oahu multiple times we were excited to try the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The resort always appeared nice to walk through. But the room was not what we were expecting. Especially considering we paid over $700 a night! Room was incredibly rundown, the furniture showed excessive wear. Drawers didn’t close in dressers, light switches didn’t work, carpet was sticky. We were very disappointed. No microwave, tiny fridge, claimed to sleep 5 but had to request a roll-away to actually sleep 5. Linens had stains on them in multiple locations. Overall the resort was nice but we would not stay here again. "

"Clean room and nice accommodations but not to the standards that I would expect from HR. Several worn areas and bathroom was just meh. Bottom of tub/shower felt like you were going to go through it and very small. Definitely needs some TLC to bring it to normal expectations. Pool area and dining areas were very nice with nice views. No private access to beach and beach is public. While I was standing watching the surfers I happen to look down and I was standing over a homeless man sleeping on his stomach with his pants pulled down! Very busy area on the main road so very loud outside ocean front room until about 2am. So good, but not great. "
