Mayflower Park Hotel

Mayflower Park Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Located downtown so nearby to our interests.Old World charm which reflects in the condition of the property and rooms. But with this also came the respect and attentiveness of the staff. Did not eat in-house."

Loews Hollywood Hotel

Loews Hollywood Hotel

8/10 Good
"This hotel was very nice overall. We ate dinner at the bar one night, and the bartenders were great and the food was delicious. I also ordered room service twice, and both times the food was wonderful, arrived quickly, and was delivered by very courteous staff. The location is excellent—right in the middle of everything, with easy walking access to Hollywood Boulevard. A few issues: The bathroom had no exhaust fan, so it became extremely hot and steamy while getting ready. We had to prop the door open with the trash can or a bottle of Fiji water. Parking was my biggest complaint. $71 for valet is very expensive, and $25 parking at Ovation Hollywood really added up. Hotel guests should receive a discounted rate and have a designated area they can access with their hotel key. On 8/21/26, it took us 45 minutes to get into the garage because of Hollywood Bowl traffic, causing us to rush through getting ready for our next plans. The "city view" room was mostly a view of the hotel roof, pool and shopping area, with very little city view. A microwave would also have been nice, although we did have a mini fridge. Other than that, the hotel was beautiful. The lobby and pool were lovely, the front desk staff were great, and the valet team was excellent. One valet even gave us helpful tips about using Waymo. I did receive the VIP Access Perk credit but forgot to use it."

"Loved location but the elevator situation, while organized, lacks capacity for the many many guests- Rainbow Tower"

Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa

Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"The overall experience was amazing! Everyone was very friendly and willing to help you at the drop of a dime. The food was absolutely fantastic, a bit pricey but what isn’t in Waikīkī? Get the regency club it’s worth it for the breakfast alone. I would suggest if you’re going to get a car you rent it in the hotel so you get valet parking at no additional cost. The parking deck sucks! There was a free performance right outside the resort on Saturday night. The views are spectacular all the way around the resort so there is no such thing as a bad room. The room was clean with plenty of linens. The lobby is just breath taking, with lots of plants and trees and a couple of waterfalls coming down from the third floor. There is a small shopping center inside the resort with a pretty good coffee shop that I visited a few times. You’re within walking distance of all the great shops, restaurants, farmers markets and my personal favorite Dukes ally. The pool is slightly heated and the hot tub is huge, and the perfect temperature. You are only a few steps away from the ocean and the drive to all the cool snorkeling spots and sights are manageable from this location. I would highly recommend the Hyatt and I will be staying there again."
