"Have been coming to Newport Channel Inn for 12 years. It is our go-to motel for our beach staycays. The rooms have been updated. Clean. Lots of towels. Bed comfy. Staff is very friendly. Air conditioning worked great. You get a parking pass for your stay so parking is great."

"Staying at the Beach House on our way to Monterey Car Week has become a tradition for my husband and I. After the short drive from SFO we look forward to sitting on our deck, relaxing and watching the pelicans. Rooms are spacious, with a fireplace and kitchenette. The hotel is close to many great local restaurants. But they do serve an excellent continental breakfast. We’ll be back next year!"

"The view from the rooms is amazing! You look out on the water and see an incredible view of the waives crashing against the cliff and rocks. That is the reason to book. The rooms are nice and large, but dated. We had a fire place which we used even in August. The restaurant also has an amazing view, breakfast was good."
