We loved this property! Such a peaceful place, yet easy drive to surrounding areas. Property is lovely with lots of on site fruit trees and gardens. When we notified the owners that we would be leaving really early in the morning, they made freshly baked custard pies for us! So good the next morning.

The host was friendly and accommodating. They served breakfast an half hour earlier than usual because we had an early ferry to Favignana. They have one area for improvement: no wine glasses, no tea and no coffee in the room. Another problem is that I suspect their Wi-Fi is hacked. When I first made the reservation and communicated with them in March. I received a scammer message pretending the property asking me to provide identification information. After we checked in and used their Wi-Fi, I got messages pretending Google Security Team and asking me to log in a provided link. These never happened to me anywhere else before.

People come here to see the salt farms and, especially, the migrating birds and natural beauty. There is little else and only a single decent restaurant. But the staff at this hotel go out of their way to connect personally and provide all the guidance you need to enjoy the area. Their breakfasts are the best!

Everything was excellent ! Rooms were spacious and clean, hosts friendly and helpful, property was scenic with agriculture, room had a view of the salt ponds. Very convenient to salt ponds museum. Breakfast was so plentiful and delicious even fresh orange juice from the orchard , warm pastries, fresh bread and cheese and tomatoes, homemade marmalade and a delicious giant cannolo.Lovely stay!! And sweet sweet dog Fiona !!

This was the last stop in our 21 day trip to Italy/sicily. We were feeling the fatigue of a long trip. Then we arrived at Casolare nelle Saline. We were warmly greeted by our hosts and shown to our room. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and had a sense of open air. We took a short walk around and found ruins from windmills used in the salt production. We took a brief drive around discovering a rich history in Trapani. The topper was the incredible breakfast served us the next morning. This place was awesome!

Great location near the salt works

A wonderful place to stay close to the salt works and the Salt Museum near Trapani! Great service and wonderful room with balconies. The breakfast alone is worth a stay here…fresh fruits, homemade marmalades and a huge cannoli!

As comfortable and authentic as it gets!

Lovely and authentic Bed & Breakfast in the middle of Trapani’s salt mines, in a quiet and relaxing area but only 10min away by car from Trapani's city center. The room was spacious, cozy, very clean, fully equipped (air conditioning, wifi, bathroom amenities) and nicely decorated. Maria, her husband and their daughter were very welcoming and helpful, they gave us a lot of useful information (local sightseeing, routes, beaches, restaurants etc.) and on one day even got up way earlier than usual to prepare us breakfast since we left very early in the morning for a daytrip. Breakfast by the way was really an experience in itself: freshly prepared, generous servings, lots of fresh and tasty fruits from the family’s own trees and home garden, and excellent homemade pastries prepared by Maria herself. We had an excellent stay at Casolare nelle Saline, I would absolutely return there and strongly recommend it!

Ihana erikoinen yksityismajoitus suola-altaiden, ollivi- ja sitruspuiden äärellä. Oma ovi pihalle, auton sai lähelle. Aamiainen oli mieletön, kuten moni olikin kommentoinut, ja sen sai syödä sitruspuiden katveessa. Kannattaa kyllä etukäteen kertoa, jos on allergioita. Isäntämme Michele oli ihanan rauhallinen ja ystävällinen, puhui kärsivällisesti kanssamme italiaa eikä vaihtanut lainkaan englantiin. Kyseli ystävällisesti matkasuunnitelmistamme yms. Michelen kanssa viestittelimme etukäteen WhatsAppilla, ja hän antoi meille kaksi mahdollista saapumisaikaa: joko kuudelta tai kahdeksalta, mikä hieman rajoitti tekemistämme. Pienenä miinuksena myös ehkä syrjäinen sijainti ilman palveluita. Kilometrin päässä kuulemma olisi ollut joku ravintola, mutta itse ajoimme Trapaniin syömään.

Un grand merci à nos hôtes, très attentionnés et d’une grande gentillesse. une immersion sicilienne au petit déjeuner, formidable, délicieux, tout fait maison. Super service og fantastisk morgenmad.

God service og venlig betjening, fantastisk morgenmad, som serveres ved bordet! Der gives endda mulighed for at pakke den del af morgenmaden, som man kan ikke kan spise til senere på dagen. Ingen kan spise den mængde mad, som vi fik serveret 😊. Spændende sted og autentisk oplevelse. God beliggenhed i forhold til lufthavnen i Trapani. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Le calme au milieu de la nature

Une nuit dans un endroit calme au milieu des salines et flamants roses. Grande chambre vue sur mer, très propre. Très bon accueil de nos hôtes sympathiques et attentionnés. Délicieux petit déjeuner maison très très copieux. Endroit idéal pour visiter Taormina, Erice et les environs.
