"The outdoor hot tub was broken. The kitchen sink cabinet was broken and had been poorly fixed that when i went to do dishes it fell on my toe. There was mold under the kitchen sink. Also, there was so much corrosion around the bathroom tub faucet that you could see into the wall. The DVD player didn't work and there should be instructions on how to connect to the DVD to the TV. Even with all these deficits the overall room was clean and had what we needed to have a good time."

"They was very short but we enjoyed our unit it's very clean exceeded our expectations. We plan on staying there again when we're in town again but for a longer stay. Loved the unit and our stay!"
Thousand Hills Resort Hotel

"Bathroom was dirty and there was no hot water. Water was lukewarm the first night by the next night it was freezing cold and shower knob got stuck and we were unable to turn off the water. Maintenance came to fix it and turned off the water but unfortunately the water never got warm. On top of that we were awoken at 1am and 4 am with fire alarms without any explanation or addressing the issues. I wanted to check out after the first night but since I booked through a third party website the front desk offered no assistance and referred me to the website who never cancelled the booking. Luckily we had other friends in town who allowed us to stop by and use their shower. Terrible experience. Never again."

"Great hotel. I was a kid in Springfield and remember watching this place get built in the late 70s/early 80s. It's still very nice. Bit of a time capsule, but the important stuff is updated. Got to stay here with my family on a recent trip back to Springfield and everyone had a nice time. Staff is lovely. Everyone friendly. Price is great. Location is amazing! Feels like home. Five stars!"

"The hotel was very clean. Check in and out easy, breakfast buffet was the usual ones at hotel, ok, and the entrance was inviting. The only thing that made it a 4 was that the room and BR quite tight. I really wouldn't have a problem recommending it or staying there again."

"The place looks nice but I believe there is poor management, we had to put a deposit down like all rooms but still haven’t received it back. When we walked up to our room it was open like they weren’t done cleaning. We didn’t have a comforter just a sheet on the bed, when asked about getting one the guy said well they probably ran out. Ok why do you not have enough comforters for each room or take one from a room that wasn’t being used. anyway we headed out to get dinner came back and asked the lady this time about a comforter and she said she would check the dryer with no luck she handed 4more sheets to cover with. The air conditioner didn’t work either! Not a comfortable stay at all. A Few towels were stained as well. When checking out there were 3 staff standing behind the counter not 1said a word as we handed over the keys! Over all just either a crappy night or they need to do a clean out on staff. The lady who gave us the sheets was very apologetic."
