"I read previous reviews that talked about noises, creaking of the wood floors, and how you can hear everything through the walls. Please keep in mind this is an AUTHENTIC 1800'S HOTEL. The owners have definitely did a very good job at preserving that authenticity. I stayed in room 4, the children's room. I opened the drawer and found a white noise machine ( along with a headless bride doll) that i utilized during my stay. I was the only one there (i think) until about 11pm. I slept like a baby and probably snored like a lumber jack and my apologies to the other guest. Beds were very comfy , the air was cold, and the shower was perfect,. Even though they were communal, they were still provided privacy.
Overall a wonderful experience.
I will say that the website mentioned a small staff to which I personally never saw, and the breakfast consisted of granola bars and instant grits so if your not a fan of those, bring your own. They have an impressive full kitchen there you can utilize..
I also loved the outdoor spaces there for sitting."
