"Clean room, except the lizard… It does not have a restaurant and the area is such, that the gate is locked between sunset and sunrise. It does have a great air conditioner and water pressure. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. It was very family-friendly with plenty to do, and both kids and adults had a great time. The staff were friendly and check-in was quick and easy. The place had everything we needed, including cutlery, plates, cups, and bowls. The outdoor BBQ area was a highlight—very clean with plenty of seating, making it perfect for relaxed family dinners outside. There were also activities available, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great experience and we’d happily stay again."

"The staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to help wherever they can—they truly deserve a big round of applause. I’ve stayed here twice now. The first visit was excellent, with a much better room, while the second stay was a little more mixed. The shower could definitely use some maintenance, and unfortunately the dryers in the laundry didn’t seem to work very well. That said, the accommodation is fairly basic, but it’s clean and perfectly adequate for a comfortable place to rest your head."

"The place looked abandoned & not open. Absolutely zero communication from the host about checkin process. The property had no access, was surrounded by a high wall & had high grass surrounding it on all sides. I repeat - it looked abandoned & very sketchy. My husband decided not to even stay there because it did not look to be in a safe area. We went to the Hilton Doubletree instead, which is a lovely hotel in Alice. I cannot recommend anything at all about VATU Sanctuary. "

"Large 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen & washer & dryer was perfect for our stay. Location in Alice is okay & there was secure parking. Unfortunately Alice is not always the safest location to stay but we did feel safe"
