"Nice family run beach hotel. Clean, quiet, safe, comfortable and wonderful location. Plenty of parking. Continental breakfast including sausages, biscuits and gravy, pancakes. A great restaurant and rooftop bar that has acoustic music most everyday next door. Walking distance to pier. We will be back."

"We enjoyed our stay at John Yancey and would definitely return. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The location was perfect, right on the beach with a great restaurant across the street. We loved the gazebo and beach view covered sitting area. The pool area was nice and well-maintained. Overall, a wonderful stay!"

"The beach is across a busy street but there is a marked crosswalk and cars do stop. the walkway to the beach is both stairs and a boardwalk until you reach the beach. Then it is about 12 steps down to the beach. The room was clean and nice that there was a door leading out to a patio to the pool on the first floor. It was gated so our dog could hang outside when we were out there. Upper floors had balconies."
