"The carpet in the room was filthy and the tile floors were dirty. I was pretty sure i paid and requested a beach front room but got a pool view instead. Breakfast was not very good … eggs had no taste, sausage was salty, toaster did not toast. The washer broker while we were washing a load. We had to go to another off site laundry facility. No refund was given for our load of wash The only good thing was i double booked the hotel and they resolved it for me."

"I’d rate Beachwoods around 3.75 stars overall. For the most part, everything felt nicely updated and maintained & our unit appeared renovated. The room was generally clean, with only minor issues like a random hair in the bathroom/tub & some mildew along the bottom of the shower curtain. My biggest complaint was comfort. The bed & couches were uncomfortable enough that I requested extra pillows to sleep better, although this seems common at many hotels lately. On the plus side, the A/C worked very well. One thing worth noting is that our condo unit was adjoined to the neighboring unit & sound carried easily..we could hear all our neighbor’s conversations throughout our stay. Luckily our neighbors were quieter adults, but I could see this being frustrating with louder groups. The indoor pool was generally clean but could use a deeper refresh. There was visible grime above the waterline and noticeable wear and rust around the water feature. We only got limited time at the outdoor pool due to weather and cooler temperatures but it looked nice & clean. The daily activities were fun and our daughter enjoyed them, though a few felt slightly overpriced. We also appreciated the board games, puzzles, and DVDs available for relaxing as a family. However, the arcade was a bit underwhelming. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the location felt secluded while still being surprisingly close to stores and conveniences."

"This is a no frills motel with an EXCELLENT location. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We rented one with a "kitchenette" that was really more like a closet, but it certainly worked! Having a full sized refrigerator & freezer was worth it. Bar sized sink, 4 burner stove and a microwave. The bathroom is really, really tiny and the shower is quite small, but again, it all worked for us. The other patrons were families, fisher people and people with pets. Everyone was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again."
