"The property is on the ground floor with about 3 steps to the door itself, check in was a breeze with a lockbox and codes provided for entry into the building. The flat is located 5-7mins from The centre of York and the taxis into the centre are all reasonably priced. The flat was clean and tidy and even had some milk in the fridge for a cuppa to save a walk to the shops. Parking is directly outside the flat with no issues to find a space. "The house was lovely, spacious, clean and well stocked with anything you might need. It is in a tranquil village and has plentiful off-road parking. The garden has an excellent view and is so peaceful to sit in. There is a park 2 minutes down the lane, a football field, and if you continue down the lane, there is a pond and a lovely walk around it. It was perfectly located between all the walking areas I wanted to see and complete. When we arrived there was bread, milk and some treats waiting...

"We really liked this room, liked the river view. Didn't like the check in process, it felt impersonal and odd. Without a proper front desk it was strange. We got pretty sick and tired of hearing doors constantly slamming by the last night we were there. They honestly need to find a way to put soft close hinges on these doors because it's brutal. The room was clean, temperature was great, tv was great, beds were mediocre. The pillows are awful so pack your own pillow. My half of the bed was OK but the other half needed replacing. (they put two singles side by side). All and all though, we would stay here again and it's a great location to walk over the bridge and check out all the sights."

Excellent central location, room, size, Parking, food, and staff. this time, we got put in the annex next door to the hotel,and the rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. Harrogate is an excellent base to explore Yorkshire. Quite unique in its layout with parks that extend into the downtown area."
