Lord Elgin Hotel
A lovely classic old hotel, albeit one in the midst of significant renovation. That said, surprisingly good value in an expensive hotel city and very well located for anything you might need in Byward Market, University of Ottawa and downtown/Centretown.

Fantastic staff. Friendly, helpful and very attentive. The room was lovely, clean and well appointed.

The Business Inn
No breakfast - early departure! I would stay there again rooms were well appointed, clean and staff polite - no complaints. Coffee station had creamer no 1/2 and 1/2-would be nice if available in the room or at a minimum at front desk
