"The property is well maintained. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms show no signs of being dated or worn out. The staff is super helpful and attentive. A complementary breakfast is well stocked and the outside spaces on the second and seventh floor Provide wonderful vantage point to observe the skyline of Ottawa. The on-site laundry is modern and all the machines are top-notch. The fitness centre is very basic and could use another flat bench. However it would be enough for anyone that needs to work out while they’re on the road underground parking is secure and will run you $28 a day. Second time staying at this location and will book it again for next year‘s travel."

"I travel to Ottawa regularly for business and have tried many of the hotels there. This is one of my top three. The rooms are large, and although a the style a little dated, clean, comfortable and well maintained. Easy walking access to downtown, with onsite underground parking ($25 extra) and by far the best breakfast of any of the hotels offering “free breakfast” in town. Will be staying there again."

"It's my 3rd or 4th time staying at this hotel. It may not look like much on the outside and you don't have this big reception hall at the entrance but the rooms are nice and clean and beds are very comfortable. There's plenty of parking and they also offer a decent breakfast in the morning which is perfect."

"Interesting history and excellent location. Room was on the smaller side, though cozy, clean and with a fully renovated bath. I didn’t eat on site. I used the hot hub and sauna, both of which I enjoyed."
