"We stayed here for 2 nights and there wasn’t anything I could fault them with! The hotel is located about 15 minute walk from the centre! The hotel was clean, staff very friendly and room facilities were great (tea/coffee machine, hairdryer and best of all air conditioning!). I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody that is planning a trip to York! "

"The hotel was nice enough to hold our two large suitcases, while we travelled to Edinburgh. I don't think we would have survived Edinburgh if we had to carry around that baggage. Weird thing with return was that the room was a ways from our previous room, but was bigger with a nice bathtub."

"Everything about this hotel was truly wonderful. On arrival we received a warm welcome followed by a free room upgrade. The room was roomy, well equipped and clean. The hotel facilities also did not disappoint - the spa was a good way to start the day, whilst the food in the restaurant was of a high standard. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back if we are ever in the area again"

"Very friendly staff. Rooms nice, beds really comfortable. Lovely breakfast area and lounge. Two pubs across the road as a change for evening meals as only booked B&B. We were there on a very hot week but had aircon in rooms. Large free car park which is a bonus round York. Bus services along the main road are frequent. No4 from outside Cross Keys pub takes you into centre which is only 1 and half miles. Would definitely stay again if visiting York. "
