Nothing in regards to dining or shops in the area which was okay as we were just passing through for the night. "They advertised that the hotel was 14 minutes walk to Kairekeun park where we wanted to go. The hotel was very far- it was 14 minutes taxi ride and had to wait more than 15 minutes just to get a taxi. We had a limited time to see the Plum festival. Most of the time was spent commuting. We wanted to walk and explore and was not able to do it"

"This hotel was very clean and looked very new. The room was really big by Japanese standards and the layout was great! Breakfast was a good value as well. Check in/out was easy. I'd recommend this hotel instead of some other ones that are closer to the train station because those looked rather dated by comparison. This property was a 20 min walk from the station or a 7 min taxi ride. There's plenty of restaurants around the hotel. It will likely be my go to when I'm in Tsuchiura again."

"First time glamping, and it was great! Pugi, the camp attendant, gave excellent service with a smile. Our yurt was comfy, dinner and breakfast were delicious: much better than expected. It’s convenient for Mt Tsukuba hiking or Ropeway. Highly recommend this place. "
