"Rooms and beds were very comfortable. No hot water, just a trickle. No hot tub. The bar was a counter and was managed by the girl at the desk. Although the staff was great, we loved Hillary! She answered all our questions. Served us margaritas at the bar. She deserves a raise!"

"It’s a good stay. Nothing spectacular but the staff (probably the owners) were very sweet and nice. I’m not too picky and I felt safe in the area. There weren’t any disturbances and my room was pretty clean. The place certainly looks rustic if I was to comment on it but if you’re looking just for a bed and shower it’s great. They had good but loud AC, a Roku TV, mini fridge, and a microwave. If I travel to Des Moines again by myself, I’ll probably stop here again as the price was good"
