A week end at the Castle

Very nice venue with heaps of historical cachet, richness and boiseries. The staff, at the restaurant and reception were very helpful. Despite a busy evening, we were able to get a table for diner in a nice setting. Have to say that our first room was too noisy being close to the elevator and transit hallway (Newest soundproofed doors would solve the problem?) Staff at the reception moved us on the 2nd floor for the second night which was much quiet. Thanks! Bring a sweater if you eat at the restaurant (not a lot of heat). Recommend for a getaway weekend.

Room itself was good and food(breakfast buffet) was also good but the following things were not good. - Wifi didn't work. Network speed was really poor. - 40PLN was additionally charged for parking when I checked out. I asked the staff that parking should be already included in the hotel fee when I reserverd via expedia but she said I parked in a paid parking space and free parking was in a different place. I couldn't find the sign which showed free or not. I don't understand why a staff didn't tell me when I checked in. I felt cheated.

De foto's op de website zijn mooier dan de gedateerde kamers die wij hadden. Helaas in de ochtend bij enkele kamers geen warme, maar koude doche. Het diner en ontbijt zijn voortreffelijk.

Ich habe mir eigentlich bei der Buchung ein anderes Zimmer ausgesucht. Ein Studio mit Treppe, d.h. der Schlafplatz nicht in einem Raum. Die Schlafcouch hatte keine gute Qualität.( quietschte bei jeder Bewegung)

Die Hotelanlage hat einen super Charme und das Personal ist top. Leider war das Badezimmer in unserem Raum nicht ideal (extrem lauter Lüfter, billigste Klodeckel) und auch die Teppiche in den Fluren zeigen die Spuren der Jahre. Das Hotel kann definitiv trotzdem Guten Gewissen besucht werden, aber ich hatte mehr erwartet.

Ett fint slott där vi fick fina rum inne i slottet. Fantastisk god mat på kvällen i restaurangen. Trevlig servitör, Frukosten var bra men inte speciell. Det har tyvärr generellt varit svårt att vara glutenintolerant i Polen då vi sällan fått glutenfritt bröd eller laktosfria alternativ. Glöm inte att ta med bröd hemifrån!

Beautiful castle and location, however the room/apt was very disappointing. Poor design - the decor is super lacking. Couch very uncomfortable. Stairs slippery. Hallway looking dark and dingy. Pool was small and water was too cold. The breakfast was lovely, the room it was in was beautiful. The area around the hotel is beautiful, walkable, quiet and safe. Overall it was a disappointing experience and I wouldn’t stay there again.

Es war schon etwas besonderes in einem Schloss zu nächtigen. Es stimmte alles. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Es war alles da. Ein toller Park, der zum Spazierengehen einlud, ein Schwimmbad, wo man seine Bahnen ziehen konnte und eine Sauna. Die war zwar recht klein, aber ausreichend. Wir kommen bestimmt noch einmal wieder.

Wir haben 2 Nächte in dieser Unterkunft verbracht. Uns gefiel das Schloß mit dem Schloßpark sehr gut. Der Pool war ausreichend groß und es gab 2 kleine Saunen(für je 2 Personen) und eine Infrarotsauna. Frühstücksbuffet war sehr lecker. Einkaufsmöglichkeit gibt's zu Fuß leider keine. Das von uns gebuchte(preisgünstige) Zimmer war sehr trostlos. Ein wenig mehr "Liebe" in Form von Bildern oder anderen Kleinigkeiten hätten es schon etwas aufgepeppt. Die Nachtschränke staubig, der eine Schieber fiel beim rausziehen auseinander... Das Zimmer war auch extrem hellhörig. Wir haben vom Nachbarzimmer jedes Wort verstanden. Also falls wir mal wiederkommen würden wir auf jeden Fall ein teures Zimmer nehmen.

Et dejligt sted. Men service var ikke så god. Vi sad i baren og nyd en øl, mens de vasket gulv mellem de stole vi sad på og baren en god halv time inden de lukket. Menu kortet var ikke stort, så måske de var gået på efterårsferie. Men et rigtig smukt sted med mulighed for en masse gå ture.

Un halte bien agréable

Service très gentil. Le petit déjeuner FABULEUX!!! Je dirais même que seule le petit dej vaut le détour. La piscine d’une belle grandeur, les saunas petits, mais bien chauds et tout l’espace est bien propre. Notre chambre n’était pas aussi grande «stylée » comme sur les photos mais le lit confortable. La salle de bain basique mais correcte. Dommage seulement que les rideaux ne soient pas opaques dans la chambre. L’endroit est très bucolique et « nature » très silencieux et reposant. Bonne liaison avec l’A4.

Es gab keinen kostenlosen Parkplatz, 40 Zolty pro Tag fand ich überteuert. Denn zu dieser Zeit fand ein Fest statt und alle Parkplätze waren besetzt.
