"The hotel was clean and had a nice premium type feel. The staff were great. The car parking was nice and secure. The only issue we encountered in our 5 night stay was being called by hotel reception on day 4 asking us to pay our current charges. Not sure why as we had given a credit card at time of checkin. We have stayed in far more expensive accommodation elsewhere and never encountered this. We thought that was a bit strange. Overall we would stay again should we visit the Northern suburbs of Brisbane."

"Charmaine the host was very friendly and helpful she gave me information on transport and other questions about the area. Nothing was too much trouble. Private views of the valley and close location to the village but far away enough that we felt we were in the forest and mountains. Cabin was immaculate and had all we needed. The goats and llamas were a bonus. Would absolutely stay there again and again and hope to return again in the near future. Definitely go to the pub for a drink and and the sugar mill for a meal. "

"An incredible, nicely refurbished historical hotel! The bedding is excellent, the rooms are have modern amenities, while showcasing the historicness of hotel. And the front desk staff really support bicyclists! BVRT riders will feel at home. "

"From arrival our experience was excellent. The Manager greeted us on arrival. Check in was easy and showed us straight to our beautiful room. He left toys for my children to play with whilst we were staying. The amenities in the room were better than expected, with an internal laundry, fridge, microwave and more. The property is beautiful and very family friendly. We had a great time and would recommend this location to everyone. "
