"The reception workers are extremely helpful and kind- offering lots of suggestions and tips. The hotel is spread out with some small apartments with kitchenettes and washing machines (very helpful!) Great location in the city- easy to walk to lots of areas."

"Beautiful hotel in central Ortigia. The room was so comfortable and the view was gorgeous to the streets below. The staff were incredibly helpful. And the breakfast was fantastic on the outdoor terrace. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here. We loved our time in the city and st this hotel."

"This is a great boutique hotel in the middle of a busy little town. The location is great and the staff was extremely helpful. The room was clean and a nice continental breakfast. I would recommend this cute little Hotel if you’re planning to come here. This town is busy and loud until midnight so if you need to go to bed early, this town is active until late, then you can sleep!"

"We were encouraged by a tour guide to book a multi-star resort hotel in the Center of Siracusa. But, our research persuaded us that a boutique hotel on the Island of Ortigia was more in line with our standards and preferences. The Algila Ortigia Charme Hotel both met and exceeded our expectations. Everything, including the Center of Siracusa was within walking distance. The morning breakfast was convenient and ample. The bar was a nice place for a nightcap and the whisky selection was excellent. Our Junior Suite was very comfortable with quiet and great air conditioning. Our only regret was that we did not have more time to enjoy the terrace and views that were connected to our room."
