"The room number 3 was spacious and convenient to two restaurants although the restaurant that was attached and assumed to be part of the hotel was not open at all. There was only a code entrance to the hotel and no information how to get in until we arrived and had to phone for information. The entrance and lobby is very tired and uninviting. The bathroom had a dirty and worn sealant around the whole of the floor/wall tiles to the point of being disgusting. The bed mattress is a cheap foam and...

"Considering it is a place out in the country, with no stores or cafes nearby. I believe there should be some coffee/tea and especially water in the rooms. It was a very warm few days (over 90 degrees F/30 degrees C) and there was no water provided, and there were no glasses in the bathroom. The internet does not work well and I had to teach an online class which could not happen. Do not expect to connect to the internet. "

"Myself and my family had a wonderful 2 night stay at Château Léognan. Our rooms were beautifully decorated with views of the woodlands and the onsite chapel. We took advantage of the complimentary electric bike rentals, to explore the estate and venture out to a nearby lake, and used the tennis court and gym. "Beautiful old chateaux in superb village location amongst vineyards outside of Bordeaux. A little run down in places but charming all the same. Lovely

pool area. Breakfast was typical French style with quality produce at a good price. Host was there seeing to our needs, he was very likeable and a pleasure to meet. Stayed 2 days and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. "
