Oregon Coast hotel rooms a the Shilo Inn

"Older property, but it’s vintage with wonderful grounds and beach front location! The beach access is beautiful with trails and tide pooling possibilities. The view from our room was amazing! The furnishings are older and not top tier, but our room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Staff were friendly and the food in bar/dining room was very good. There weren’t many people hanging out when we went- not a nite-club type vibe, but good food and service with amazing views. For the price point, I feel it is a very good value. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!"

"Run down property, but they are trying to remodel room by room. A little sketchy area. Didn’t try the breakfast. Did not look promising, but I didn’t try it so couldn’t say for sure."

"The room was very clean and spacious the ocean view was amazing! The had a great buffet breakfast and the staff was very nice. There was a sauna, heated outdoor pool and hot tub. I had very easy beach access. We will stay there again."

"After having a bad experience with an air, BNB and how the place wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. We thought this time we would use a hotel because they probably have higher cleaning standards. After arriving and checking in going to our hotel room and being in there for a few minutes we started to notice dog hair all over our kids that were sitting on the couch and after noticing, looking around seeing that, there was dog hair everywhere, even in the refrigerator. When I brought it to their attention they said they would have somebody clean our room. Even after them cleaning, there was still traces of dog hair. Then after that point we started a question how clean everything else was, which didn’t give us a good feeling. We also had a moment where the housekeeping ladies walked into our room without knocking or announcing themselves when we checked out and they asked how the day was we just got the basic apologies. No message from the manager no follow up. Just a “sorry about that.”"

"It was absolutely amazing. The pool and hot tub is open 24 hours but is adults only after 10PM. Its beachfront and the ocean view rooms definitely deliver. We will be back for sure!"
