"The staff was friendly.
Upon arrival the guest gets a yukata and a key to 9 public thermal springs around the town, where he may bath freely. Note that they are extremely hot. The staff also offers a free ride to the Snow Monkey Park or Yudanaka Station in the morning."

"Location is good, opposite is the ski resort, which has good snow. Overall room was well maintained, public Onsen was nice too. If plan to stay may order half board instead, or tell hotel staff to reserve dinner before 10am"

"One of the best place to experience outdoor onsen at 1800m up in the mountain. Not a lot to do outside winter season if you do not drive. The surrounding is beautiful and an hour drive away from the Snow Monkey Park."
